A Piece of my Story

I used to believe deep down that I simply wasn't enough. I constantly felt inadequate, not pretty enough, smart enough, or successful enough. The pressure I put on myself to attain perfection was relentless, and it took a heavy toll on my well-being. This belief took root in my childhood and followed me relentlessly throughout my life, infiltrating every aspect of it.

When I reached university, the weight of my own expectations became too much to bear. It pushed me to the brink, resulting in a preliminary stage of burnout at the young age of 21. I struggled with setting boundaries and found it impossible to say no. This detrimental pattern persisted into my professional life, leaving me struggling to cope. To make matters worse, my insecurities manifested in an eating disorder that consumed my thoughts and actions. Looking at myself in the mirror became an overwhelming and tearful experience.

I eventually sought help through psychotherapy, and it undoubtedly saved my life. It provided some relief and addressed the surface-level symptoms. But deep inside, my limiting beliefs still loomed large, drowning out my true voice. I felt utterly lost and devoid of happiness, lacking motivation to truly live.

Then, a ray of hope emerged when a friend introduced me to coaching. It became a turning point in my life. Through coaching, I began to unravel and challenge those limiting beliefs that had held me captive for so long. I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, unearthing my core values and uncovering my purpose. Slowly but surely, I started to find myself again, and with newfound determination, I began working towards creating the life I truly desired.

And then, one ordinary day, while seated on my sofa, an incredible sensation washed over me. It was a feeling of lightness and ease that permeated my entire being. In that moment, it felt as though the weight of the world had been lifted from my shoulders. It was a feeling I hadn't experienced since I was a carefree child, and I never thought I would feel it again. It surpassed the exhilaration of falling in love. It was pure, unadulterated happiness. I no longer needed anyone else's validation to believe that I was intelligent or beautiful. I had embraced myself fully, knowing that being true to who I am was more than enough.

Now, my passion burns bright in making coaching accessible to young people who are struggling. I want to help others break free from their own limiting beliefs, guiding them to live authentically and find fulfillment on their own terms. It is a mission close to my heart, as I want every person to experience the transformative power of coaching, just as I did.
